Short and readable on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask — we'd rather explain than surprise you.
Kestrel is a market-intelligence tool: it collects and analyzes publicly observable market data (search demand, public ad libraries, public posts, public retail listings) around keywords you choose, and presents verdicts and signals. It's decision support — not financial advice, and not a guarantee that any product or niche will make money. You make the calls; you own the outcomes.
Sign-in is passwordless via email. You're responsible for access to your inbox and for anything done through your workspace tokens. One person per account; a workspace may be shared with your own team via its token.
Free accounts get a one-time grant of scan units; paid plans add monthly units and higher limits. Units pay only for on-demand research (scans, blueprints) and every charge is itemized in your ledger. If a research vendor fails mid-run, you aren't billed for what wasn't delivered. Unused units don't expire while your account is active. Paid checkout is rolling out; upgrades are currently arranged by request.
Don't attempt to extract our underlying data sources wholesale, resell raw feeds, probe other workspaces, or use Kestrel to break another service's terms or the law. We may throttle or suspend accounts that endanger the platform — with notice, except where abuse makes that impractical.
Market numbers come from public surfaces and third-party providers; they can lag, shift, or contain errors. We show you every number and where it came from, precisely so you can judge it. We warrant honest presentation, not market outcomes.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Kestrel's liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
You can stop any time — export your data (Settings), then request deletion. We can end accounts that violate section 4. If we ever discontinue the service, you'll get at least 60 days' notice and a full export window.
Material changes to these terms get an in-app notice before they apply. Belgian law governs; disputes go to the courts of Belgium — though email us first, humans usually sort it faster.
